Congratulations to the two newest board members of CleanApps.org, Gary Guseinov and Rob Charlebois, who emerged as the winners in a closely contested election. Both Gary and Rob have decades of deep industry experience and expertise, and we’re delighted to welcome them to the Board as leaders of the movement for a prosperous and fair app marketplace that respects consumers.
I’d also like to thank their two formidable challengers, Teala Comer and Paul Dhaliwal, who finished closely behind in the election. Teala and Paul will no doubt continue to contribute greatly to CleanApps.org in the weeks and months to come, and the board members and I look forward to working with them.
Finally, a big thank you to the membership of CleanApps.org. More than 80% of eligible members voted – that’s a great turn-out, and one that the U.S. midterm elections in November are unlikely to come even close to matching!
