Welcoming Teala Comer to the CleanApps.org Board

Congratulations to Teala Comer, the newest member of the CleanApps.org Board of Directors! Teala replaces Kyle Reagan, who recently left the software downloading industry and resigned from our board to take a technology job with the Victoria Ferry Service. Our other four members of the CleanApps.org Board – Bogdan Odulinski, Phil Schnyder, Gary Guseinov, and Rob Charlebois – appointed Teala to serve out the remainder of Kyle’s two-year term, and we are thrilled to have her.

Many of you know Teala from her role as Strategic Relationship Manager at Spigot, where she has worked for the last three years. Your connection to Teala, however, may go back many years, as she’s long been a passionate presence in the app industry. She’s been a mainstay at industry events, conferences, and networking meet-ups. Some of you may also know her because you voted for her in the last election – she finished a very close third behind Gary and Rob, the two winners in our September 2018 board election. Given her strong election performance then, her desire to make a difference in the online user experience, her strong talents and experience, and her passion for bringing more members to CleanApps.org, she was a natural choice to fill the vacant board spot.

So here’s to Teala, who will help CleanApps.org maintain our strong momentum and grow our membership base and impact. And a big thank you to Kyle, a fantastic member of our board, whom we will miss dearly.
